The successful individual for this role will be a team player that buys into this mindset and embodies SGI's vision, missions and values.

We are looking for a permanent full time Underwriter 2 to join our Commercial Property team in Regina. In this role you will be doing complex technical work in the underwriting of insurance risks. You will review, evaluate, rate and process insurance requests for applicable insurance products. You will also delegate work and provide training, technical guidance, review and approve work by staff in less senior positions.

Requirements

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity  after all, we're counting on you.  We are looking for candidates who have successfully completed any 6 Chartered Professional Insurance (CIP) courses. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
