The YWCA Regina is a non-profit organization that exists to support and empower women, children and youth in addressing their diverse needs in the realization of their full potential.  

A full-time, temporary position is available as Interim Assistant Director in the YWCA Lumsden Childcare Centre.  

Responsibilities:

- Providing a safe environment for all children

- Programming for children utilizing the Play and

- Providing a safe environment for all children

- Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles

- Assist in training new staff

- Ensure staff adhere to schedules and policies of the Centre

- Paperwork such as compiling statistics for reporting, ensuring files are kept up to date

- Be a team player

- Have a positive attitude

- Punctual and dependable



Qualifications: Education and experience essential.

- Early Childhood Education Level III ECE preferred but equivalent education in a related field     that provides good understanding of child development will be considered.

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Criminal record check
