Responsibilities:
Undertake and oversee the design, specification, configuration, and commissioning of electrical systems and process automation equipment
Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the work performed in the department
Assign, coordinate and review the technical work of the department or project teams
Plant engineering and reliability engineering support for a variety of industrial and utility clients
Power system studies; short circuit, coordination, power flow, arc flash, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or A.Sc.T., with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in an industrial setting or consulting environment.
Eligible for registration as a professional engineer with APEGS (Association of Professional Engineers and Geosciences of Saskatchewan)
Working knowledge of electrical protection, industrial process control and automation applications
