SGI has made many new investments in technology. These specific changes represent the digital side of our Corporate Transformation also known as Digital Transformation. We have moved to an agile environment changing the way we think and embracing a totally new way of delivering work. SGI has been gradually transforming itself and will continue to do so in the next few months and years ahead. The successful individual for this role will be a team player that buys into this mindset and embody SGIs vision, missions and values.

We are looking for a temporary full time Desktop Administrator to join our Regina Head Office team for a 1-year term. As the Desktop Administrator you will be responsible for providing Tier 2 support to SGI and SGI partner end users for all components of the Desktop environment. You will work closely with team members to implement solutions and capabilities to enhance the Desktop environment and user experience. You must be able to quickly diagnose and resolve issues, provide clear guidance and offer advice to deliver a best-in-class user service experience while managing and prioritizing competing workloads.

The successful candidate should be proficient in most, if not all, user-facing hardware and software, including collaboration tools, voice and mobile technology, LOB applications and common hardware models. As well, they must be eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and buy in to IT initiatives to then act as an advocate for transformation and positive change.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have a two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary education institution in an Information Technology Field of study. Candidates should have at least two years relevant experience. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
