Do you have experience in Personal Lines Underwriting? Are you looking for a new opportunity to progress in your career? SGI CANADA is currently looking for a permanent full-time Personal Lines Underwriter 2 to be part of SGI CANADAs growth. In this role you will evaluate, rate, and process insurance requests for Personal Lines property products. You will also maintain relationships with brokers to develop lasting and profitable relationships. The Underwriter 2 delegates work and provides training, technical guidance, work review and approval to staff in less senior positions.  

We are looking for candidates who are customer-focused and look for ways to improve the customer experience. This position is with our British Columbia Underwriting team and is based out of our Corporate Head Office in Regina, SK.

For our Personal Lines Underwriter 2, here are some things we'll look for:

- Two-year diploma in a relevant field of study such as business.
- 2-4 years of underwriting experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide technical information, advice or guidance to customers.
- Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses would be considered an asset.
