Under the supervision of the Manager of Housing Development, or designate, the Housing Support  Caseworker will assist in case management and in the field service delivery of the Housing Support Program, as they provide direct services for participants living in or at risk of chronic homelessness. Working with clients facing barriers, trauma, mental health, addiction, and other complex needs.
The housing support caseworker will need excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
Exceptional writing and case management skills
Must maintain a positive relationship with clients, other staff, businesses, government representatives, etc. Must provide support to clients.
Qualifications: Human Service Degree/Diploma or A Combination of Education and Experience
Minimum one year work experience in a outreach/residential setting, with experience in case management
First Aid and CPR
Suicide Intervention training
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
Food Safety Training
Valid Drivers License
Clean Criminal Record for Vulnerable sector check.
