Immediate Supervisor Principal
The English and Social Studies Teacher is responsible for instructing students in a high school by creating lesson plans, administering praise, constructive criticism, and developing a student's skills in English and Social Studies. The teacher is to create a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, a teaching certificate or credential or equivalent professional experience which would translate to successful classroom teaching. Advanced degree preferred but not required.
A recognized post-secondary Diploma as a teacher or equivalent post-secondary education in a related area from a recognized institution would be an asset.
Proficiency in the use of computers such as word processing, excel and database systems.
Related training or experience in the field of education would be a definite asset.
