The Authority serves a total student population of approximately 1,300+ students. The Authority is working toward improved educational outcomes by utilizing the latest technology, progressively piloting programs, and integrating Denesuline culture into the classroom and school curriculum.
We are seeking a competent, confident, motivated individual to fill the position of a Grade 9 Teacher at Father Megret High School (FMHS), on a term contract (with the potential of going on a full-time permanent contract) located at Hatchet Lake, Saskatchewan. In this role, you will provide strong interpersonal skills, commitment to learning and teaching in project-based ways and provide an enthusiastic learning environment for students
To qualify for this position, you will need to have a Bachelor of Education degree from an accredited university, a teaching certificate or equivalent, and be eligible for or possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate. The successful candidate will be required to relocate to the community.
This competition is open to all applicants who reside in Canada; and preference will be given to First Nation or other Indigenous applicants who possess the qualifications, knowledge, and skills to meet the minimum suitability requirements as stated for the position.
