You will play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions and comprehensive assessments to clients across different age groups and diverse backgrounds.

All of our counselors come with a wide variety of evidence-based knowledge to help with different issues that affect individuals, families, and communities.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, incorporating Indigenous healing practices and traditional knowledge, as applicable.
* Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
* Provide culturally relevant psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and resilience.
* Advocate for the mental health needs of Indigenous populations, working closely with community organizations and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
* Participate in ongoing professional development activities, supervision, and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills in counseling and in Indigenous mental health.
Candidates will have:
* Strong counseling skills and experience including sound theoretical understanding and application of various evidenced-based clinical interventions.
