Responsibilities:
Full - time maintenance workers are assigned to regular maintenance tasks and additional projects that may arise. They will support the maintenance team as required.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture;
Drivers license; Vehicle;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
Computer skills;
Must pass Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check;
Excellent time management skills;
Positive leadership qualities;
Team player;
Minimum 2 years maintenance or maintenance related experience;

Remuneration: 53,060 Per Annum

Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Facilities Manager and/or Housing Operations Supervisor and maintenance staff to complete maintenance projects in a timely, cost effective manner;
Report any concerns to Facilities Manager ASAP;
Be available on a rotation for on-call
Be available to respond to after hours maintenance issues on requested days;
Be aware of emergency procedures in the event of the need for building evacuations;
Have a working knowledge of fire alarm systems, water and electrical shut offs;
Notify appropriate individuals (on call staff, Supervisor, Manager) of any prolonged utility shut offs;
Probation: All YWCA Prince Albert positions contain a three month probation period.
