CanPro Farms Ltd. operate a feed ingredients business. It has been in operation for over 50 years in north-eastern Saskatchewan, in the heart of a very productive farming community. CanPro produces both conventional and organically certified products.
CanPro is seeking a Plant Operator to ensure the smooth operations of its pelleting plant. This is a seasonal position from approximately June to

CanPro is seeking a Plant Operator to ensure the smooth operations of its pelleting plant. This is a seasonal position from approximately June to November of each year.
The Plant Operators duties and responsibilities include:
Operate major plant systems safety and efficiently, including front end feeders, rotary dryers, meal system, etc.
Perform product tests and control measures and record data in hourly log books
Greasing rolls, pelleter and other systems on a scheduled basis
Reporting all mechanical problems to Plant Supervisor and Plant Maintenance Worker
Assist Plant Maintenance Worker with maintenance and repairs as needed
Keeping a clean work area
Ensure a high standard of maximum production is all areas of the pellet plant production
Other general tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Knowledge of, or ability to learn operating knowledge of all major components and machinery used in plant operations
Knowledgeable in the operation of a high-pressure boiler, pressure vessel and steam
Ability to adhere to all safety measures put in place
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
