Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Social Development Administrator will be responsible for communicating effectively and listening to clientele and helping with any social problems. Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Social Development Administrator will be responsible for communicating effectively and listening to clientele and helping with any social problems. He/She will be responsible for the following:    Work towards fulfilling the goals and objectives of the bands social services branch. Administer and implement the social assistance program on the reserve, in cooperation with District office personnel, and accordance with the program and band regulations. Be knowledgeable regarding Provincial Services programs, regulations and requirements. Receive and review applications and assistance to determine entitlement and ensure that applicants are treated fairly. Encourage/assist clientele to participate in programs of self-help and social/economic development. Provide information to band members as required, to ensure that they are well informed of their rights regarding the social development programs.Other duties as directed    Certificate/Diploma in Administration/Social Work
    A combination of education and experience will be considered.
    Familiarity with AIS Software an asset
Skills & Abilities:
    Excellent written and oral communication skills;
    Excellent working knowledge of various software programs (Gmail, Microsoft word, excel, on-line meeting platforms etc.);
Weekly/Monthly/ Quarterly/Annual Reporting; Efficient Organizational Skills; Team player; Must possess a valid class 5 license and possess a reliable vehicle, Dependable and reliable; Substance free
