As Accountant, you will:
- Provide accurate and timely accounting/bookkeeping/taxation support for clients(full cycle accounting) up to orincluding financial statements (to be confirmed, based upon your experience). This includes data entry, general accounting, payroll, bank reconciliations, accounts

As Accountant, you will:
- Provide accurate and timely accounting/bookkeeping/taxation support for clients(full cycle accounting) up to orincluding financial statements (to be confirmed, based upon your experience). This includes data entry, general accounting, payroll, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable and preparing/sending tax remittances, etc.
- Respond to telephone enquiries and greet incoming clients and visitors.
- Provide support during tax season. Critically review and assess accounting documents, tax returns and financial reports to ensure accuracy of all information.
- Support the CPA Manager and other members of the team as needed.
- Represent the firm in a professional manner and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Post-secondary accounting education or formal training is an asset.
Experience:
- Related bookkeeping/full cycle accounting experience, with a strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and legislative/tax requirements. Experience in a public accounting firm is an asset.
- Must have Canadian tax experience personal income tax and/or corporate income tax.
- General accounting knowledge and experience in bank reconciliations, accounts receivables/payables as well as basic payroll entries and calculations.
- Experience with CRA my account website/Represent a Client is an asset, as well as experience in compilations engagements.
- Letter andmemorandum writing, and office administration experience is an asset.
