PhD in a relevant research area
Evidence as an emergent leader in problem-oriented, interdisciplinary research in one or more of SENS research focal areas: Sustaining Ecosystems, Sustaining Communities, Water Security
High-quality publications with visible impact, appropriate to research field
Success in obtaining competitively awarded funding from Canadian Tri-Agencies or similarly competitive national or international agencies
Strong record of implementing social science research methods (qualitative and/or quantitative) with linkages to appropriate areas of social science theory
Proven track record of innovative graduate and/or undergraduate teaching
Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated through collaborative interdisciplinary interactions, community engagement, faculty collegiality
Experience with interdisciplinary research partnerships
In addition, there is a possibility to hire a 5-year term appointment from this search. Application review begins September 11, 2015, and continues until the post is filled. Salary bands are: Asst. Professor, $90,796 - $109,108. Relocation assistance is available for applicants outside Saskatchewan.
