The position will report directly to the CEO of a rapidly growing privately owned company located in Saltcoats, Sask.
The candidate must possess analytical and problem-solving skills, be accustomed to leading a team and have strong oral and written communication skills to effectively represent the company.

The position will report directly to the CEO of a rapidly growing privately owned company located in Saltcoats, Sask.
The candidate must possess analytical and problem-solving skills, be accustomed to leading a team and have strong oral and written communication skills to effectively represent the company.
The position will be a key member of the senior management team
The ideal candidate must have CA and/or a CMA designation and will have 10 years or more of progressive experience in leading teams of finance, accounting, and core business professionals to sustain the effective operations of a construction, industrial, agricultural, fabrication and maintenance business. A combination of fabrication, construction, and maintenance experience at the executive level would be an asset.
The candidate must be knowledgeable in Accounting Practices for Private Businesses
The applicant must be familiar with designing, monitoring and evaluating internal control processes.
The applicant must be willing to be hands-on and willing to coach, mentor, and over-see the day-to-day finance and accounting tasks as required
Responsibilities include:
Providing sound financial business advice to the CEO and senior leadership team
Providing strategic leadership and guidance to the CEO regarding the establishment of systems and policies that are critical to the success of the company in meeting its goals and objectives
Financial statement preparation and interaction with our national accounting firm
Budgeting and Forecasting
Management of treasury function and interaction with lenders
The position will be based in the EMW Head Office located in Saltcoats, Sask.
The applicant must maintain permanent and primary residence within a community in that general region.
