Job Description
PARTNERS Family Services is accepting applications for the position of Social Worker. PARTNERS staff provide a safe, confidential and welcoming environment that assists individuals and families to meet their immediate and on going needs. Duties include crisis intervention, domestic violence counselling, program facilitation, safety planning, referrals, client advocacy, and community presentations.
Frequent travel within 100km radius of Humboldt is required.

Requirements:
- BSW or BISW and registered with SASW
- Expperience working with survivors or those at risk of interpersonal violence, sexual assault or those in crisis
- Proven ability to work effectively with victims of interpersonal violence and abuse
-Experience in developing, administering and evaluation programs, workshops and educational programming
-Experience collaborating and with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordination of services to clients
- Experience working with community groups, volunteers and agencies
- Strong team work capacity, highly organized, and capable of managing varied demands
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanour
- Excellent writing skills, time management, communication and file management skills
- Computer competencies
- Certified in First Aid, CPR, ASIST and NVCI
- Use of personal vehicle including 2mil in liability insurance
-Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector screening
This position is primarily Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (32.5 hrs/wk). PARTNERS Family Services offers competitive wages, benefits and generous vacation and sick leave policies. Position is to commence immediately until March 2019.
