Responsibilities
Work with all departments and groups within the Company to optimize performance and work within the corporate team as a whole
Partner with Leadership Team in providing counsel, expertise and solutions that support the mandate and vision of the Company
Provide input to the Leadership Team regarding strategic planning for organizational structure, leadership development, succession planning, recruitment, training and

Partner with Leadership Team in providing counsel, expertise and solutions that support the mandate and vision of the Company
Provide input to the Leadership Team regarding strategic planning for organizational structure, leadership development, succession planning, recruitment, training and development and employee safety
Ensuring the ongoing development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to attract, select, and develop great corporate talent
Research, develop and implement training programs based on the needs of the business
Manage and stay current on all federal and provincial employment standards and safety regulations
Oversee Health and Safety Program
Manage WCB reporting and RTW programs
Manage high risk and sensitive workplace issues and conflicts
Direct all human resources team members regarding day-to-day activities
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration from a recognized post-secondary education institute
CHRP would be considered an asset
Minimum 5 years experience applying human resource management practices and principles
Minimum 3 years experience with employment, human rights, , WCB, Duty to Accommodate and Safety legislation
Demonstrated experience in developing and providing operational and strategic advice, guidance and recommendations to management on complex or sensitive human resources issues
Demonstrated experience in providing advice and mentoring/coaching to HR team members and/or clients on human resources related issues
