The Nipawin Housing Authority is looking for an independent, self-starter who enjoys working alone and amongst tenants for the full time Janitorial position.  If you take pride in your work, are available to work from 8:30 - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, we'd like to hear from you!

Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Maintain a high standard of visual appeal in
  common areas through scheduled and as needed
  cleaning to include: sweeping, vacuuming, steam
  cleaning carpets, dusting, etc.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and
  equipment
- Cleaning vacant units in preparation for  
  occupancy, conduct minor repairs as necessary  
  (change locks, tighten cabinet pulls, etc)
- Support Tenant Relations with move-ins and move-
  outs and participate in annual unit inspections
- Contribute to the safety and security of
  properties and tenants by inspecting physical
  surroundings, addressing hazards and
  participating in fire drills

Requirements:
- Grade XII or equivalent
- Valid Drivers license and use of own vehicle
- Demonstrated self initiative with good
  judgement, reliability and respect for  
  confidentiality
- Experience operating cleaning equipment
- The position requires extended periods of
  standing, walking and lifting
