Job Description
Reporting directly to the Short-Term Community Based Home Coordinator/Manager, the Child Support Worker will be responsible for ensuring the best interests of the children in the case of the Short-Term Community Based Home, first and foremost.
? Maintain each child?s file as well as fill in required daily documentation
? Ability to maintain confidentiality is a MUST.

? Must be willing to work at the child?s eye level, sing, dance and play with babies and young children.
? Provide child care and all that it involves.
? Be able to work 12-hour shifts ? Day/Night
? Food preparation and knowledge of the Canada Food Guide.
? Ability to think creatively and able to problem solve effectively.
? Ability to work in a team environment.
? Housekeeping duties and all that it involves in maintain a Community-based home.

-The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Grade 12 and would ideally have training in the field of early childhood education, youth care worker or equivalent training and experience. The candidate is enthusiastic, works well with all ages, is organized, has good attention to detail, clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector check, and can manage a large volume of competing demands
