Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities include:
? Seek out and pursue program resources for long-term growth and sustainability;
? Ensure all counselling and cultural activities are conducted in accordance with the objectives of the respective programs related to holistic healing;
? Control and direct all managerial functions within the Centre including: human resource management, financial management, operational planning;
? Prepare and monitor budget proposals and yearly expenditure plans and complete

? Ensure all counselling and cultural activities are conducted in accordance with the objectives of the respective programs related to holistic healing;
? Control and direct all managerial functions within the Centre including: human resource management, financial management, operational planning;
? Prepare and monitor budget proposals and yearly expenditure plans and complete reporting requirements for funding agencies;
? Work in close liaison with Elders, communities and agencies to ensure delivery of programs and services is consistent with cultural and traditional values;
? Establish and maintain a supportive team work approach with all employees, encouraging open communication, collaboration and mutual respect.
The successful candidate will possess:
? Master of Social Work or Clinical Psychology Degree AND five (5) years direct supervisory and case management work experience or commensurate qualifications, leadership and relevant experience;
? Proven track record in confidential and administration practices and procedures and working with multiple priority deadlines;
? Capacity to maintain a high degree of discretion, privacy, ethics and exercise sound judgement;
? Knowledge and commitment to the philosophy, goals and objectives of the File Hills Qu?Appelle Tribal Council and specifically the White Raven Healing Centre;
? Knowledge of addiction and mental health treatment methodologies;
? Cultural Knowledge ? has an in depth understanding of First Nations histories, values, languages, cultures, and traditions;
? Possess strong communication, interpersonal/team building skills, record keeping skills, and ability to deliver educational presentations;
