Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor and working with Shipping and Receiving team, the incumbent will be responsible for helping direct and supervise seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming materials. The Shipping and Receiving Lead Hand understands the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of outgoing items. Inventory management, directing work and vendor relations with shipping companies and our customers are essential functions for this position.

This position is a unionized position and will be required to work in the production and shipping areas as required to support the business.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Procedures, Food Safety, Health & Safety. Ability to motivate and lead by example. Ability to train and organize staff. Excellent communication ability. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically & mentally demanding atmosphere. Forklift Certification and Forklift operating experience preferred (TCP will train the successful candidate).
