Required Qualifications

Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Counseling skills
Advanced interpersonal skills
Advanced organizational skills
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Advanced assessment skills
Facilitation skills
Mediation skills

The ability to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of commonly used psychotropic medications, the Provincial Mental Health Services Act and Regulations, psychiatric conditions, demonstrated competency in comprehensive psychiatric nursing assessments, care planning and treatment is preferred.

The successful completion of an induction training program will be required.
Expected Start Date: December 3, 2019
FTE: 0.63

Hours of Work: In a 4 week rotation: 8 shifts of 11.78 hours
