MACSI is an affiliate of the Metis Nation - Saskatchewan and is a non-profit corporation providing alcohol and drug recovery services and counselling programs to Saskatchewan residents. It operates in-patient treatment centres in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert.

The Regional Manager of Saskatoon Addictions Services is an out-of-scope position, reporting to the Executive Director. The Regional Manager will ensure that a high quality of treatment is provided to all clients through a Clinical Supervision program. As well, overall supervision will ensure that programs and services are integrated, and strong links with other community based services are developed and maintained. The Regional Manager will direct and oversee all personnel matters and administrative and accountability processes for the Centre.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of five (5) years continuous sobriety/abstinence;
Diploma in Chemical Dependency, or University degree in Psychology or Social Work, and equivalent combination of five(5) years experience and education in addictions treatment;
Sound knowledge of counselling theory, human behaviour, and issues related to alcohol, drugs, and solvent abuse;
Extensive experience in administration, financial and human resources management, and community liaison systems;
Extensive experience in treatment program planning, client therapy and prevention work
Demonstrated abilities in individual, group and family counselling, conducting motivational assessment plans and clients referrals.
Excellent knowledge of Metis and First Nations communities and cultures;
Ability to speak Michif or Cree an asset
Produce a current CPIC Security Clearance; and
Hold a valid drivers license and ability to travel
