Job Description
GSSD invites applications for a temporary part-time Caretaker.
To commence as soon as possible and expire on January 31, 2020 or upon return of the regular employee, whichever date occurs first. There is a possibility this position may be extended.

This position consists of 5 hours per day. The work schedule will be 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with AP 403 Appendix B - Rest Periods and the current collective bargaining agreement.

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:
Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent
Level 1 Occupational Health and Safety
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certification
A valid drivers license
Take pride in maintaining a clean and operational facility
Direct experience in the caretaking field and the ability to work independently and as a team member would be considered an asset.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $17.34 - $21.15 with vacation time accrued at the applicable rate.
