Job Description
The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory. Based out of the All Nations Healing Hospital, the Data/System Analyst will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across the acute and clinical departments to support continuous quality improvement.

Based out of the All Nations Healing Hospital, the Data/System Analyst will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across the acute and clinical departments to support continuous quality improvement.
Reporting to the Director of Client Services or designate, the successful candidate will provide consultative and analytical support through the provision of integrated statistical and clinical information to support evidence-based decision making and the monitoring of performance. This position will assist in the development, execution and promotion of corporate benchmarking, data validation methodologies, decision support and continuous improvement efforts.
Applicants must possess:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Statistics, Health Informatics or Information Management
Three years experience in related field
Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License
Current CIPC and Vulnerable Sector Check
Qualifications:
Experience in the application of sound principles of statistics, data collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation
Experience and understanding with CIHI databases (DAD, NACRS, CCRS, NRS, OMHRS and MIS)
Experience, knowledge of and understanding of EMR data bases (Med Access, etc.)
Ability to synthesize and communicate reported data
Experience and ability in report writing, database development, flexibility and adaptability to change
Experience and knowledge of project management skills
Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team member in a fast paced environment and across multiple clinical departments
Demonstrated knowledge and respect of, and ability to work within First Nations Traditional and Spiritual Institutes
Hours of Work: 0830 to 1630 Monday to Friday (some flexible hours required)
