Carmichael Outreach is a non-profit charitable community driven organization that provides services to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness.  We believe all people are deserving of respect and dignity, and that their strengths and resiliency are the key to their empowerment. We advocate with them to end poverty and homelessness in the community. Our Executive Director will respect and uphold these goals and values and work to engage the community.
This job includes:
-    A strong connection to and understanding of Reginas vulnerable community.
-    An understanding of the complexities of homelessness particularly as they relate to Indigenous peoples, people new to Canada, seniors, women, children and families, LGBTQ, and other groups.
-    Working with a Board or Directors
-    Managing a strong team of staff and volunteers
-    Supervising internships and work placements
-    Financial administration and fundraising
-    Public presentations, media and outreach
-    Strong team leadership skills
-    Understanding of crisis response and policy and procedure development
