Buffalo Head Environmental Ltd. is currently seeking a motivated student to join our team for the summer.
Reporting to the Manager of Special Projects, the Summer Student will be responsible to assist with numerous tasks related to vegetation management, vegetation assessment and additional tasks as required.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with a large volume of time

Reporting to the Manager of Special Projects, the Summer Student will be responsible to assist with numerous tasks related to vegetation management, vegetation assessment and additional tasks as required.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with a large volume of time sensitive projects;
Working with project staff to meet client needs and deadlines;
Liaising with key stakeholders including clients, land owners, service providers, governing agencies, regulatory bodies and senior project personnel;
Assisting with reports and status updates for clients and senior project personnel; and,
Other responsibilities as required.
The successful candidate will have:
Be working toward a degree or diploma in applicable discipline preference may be given to biology or Agrology major;
Preference will be given to a candidate with a pesticide applicator license;
Experience in Saskatchewan environmental and oil industries;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to meet tight deadlines;
Strong time management and organizational skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and,
Valid Class 5 drivers licence with clean abstract.
