Position and Responsibilities

Cameco is looking for a motivated individual to join the maintenance team at the worlds second largest high grade uranium deposit, located at the Cigar Lake operation in northern Saskatchewan.

You will be responsible for servicing underground heavy equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders underground and when necessary on surface. This includes performing preventative maintenance inspections,

You will be responsible for servicing underground heavy equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders underground and when necessary on surface. This includes performing preventative maintenance inspections, lubrication, troubleshooting, overhauls and repair work as required.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:
    Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty mechanic certificate
    Five years related experience with mine development mobile heavy equipment maintenance
    Ability to utilize OEM diagnostic software
    Team player with good communication skills
    Excellent safety record
    Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:
    Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewans North.
