Job Description
Southeast College, one of Saskatchewan's Top Employers is currently recruiting for two faculty members. The Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) instructor will join the current cohort to complete Year 2 and Year 3. The program is offered from Redvers, Saskatchewan.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Plan/facilitate the program.
Manage the learning environment in alignment with policies and recognized adult

Required Qualifications
Completion of an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) Program from an approved school
A minimum of two years of recent experience as an ACP
Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP)
Current instructor level status with International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
Current instructor level status with Basic Life Support (BLS)
Current provider level certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS)
Understanding of and ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education
Well-developed interpersonal and oral communications skills
Demonstrates valuing diversity
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders
These qualifications may be negotiated in certain circumstances.
Specialized qualifications include instructor level status with:
The Working Mind First Responders (TWMFR, formerly R2MR)
Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA)
Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) Defensive Driving Course
Pediatric Education for the Prehospital Provider (PEPP)
Satisfactory criminal record check will be required.
Number of days: Minimum 138 Maximum 148 will be split between successful candidates based on their availability and competencies.
