Job Description
The Food Centre is looking for an individual seeking a unique opportunity to work in a diversified food processing setting. This position is primarily responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of the HACCP Food Safety System.
Main duties include:
- Working closely with CFIA and all other regulatory and certification bodies to ensure clear communication and adherence to applicable regulations and standards.

Main duties include:
- Working closely with CFIA and all other regulatory and certification bodies to ensure clear communication and adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
- Development, implementation and monitoring of the HACCP system, quality assurance program and all other food safety programs.
- Provide staff training in all areas of food safety and quality requirements.
- Ensuring compliance to all written programs and regulations through management of the food safety and quality programs.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience with HACCP, Quality Assurance, GMPs and SOP development or experience working in a federally registered food processing environment is considered an asset.
- Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Suite.
- Previous training in Food Science, or related fields is considered an asset.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
