May consider hiring individuals without the required qualifications who will be required to complete the Journeyperson Cook Certificate within seven (7) years at his/her own expense as a condition of employment.
Unqualified applicants would have to meet the following criteria:
Professional Cooking Certificate or equivalent preferred, including the completed Cook Online Upgrading Pilot.
Food Safe Certificate
Six (6) months previous experience working in a food services operation including cooking experience
Possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above
An interview may be requested.
The successful candidate shall be required to provide a satisfactory criminal record check including a vulnerable sector query as a condition of employment.
