Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant who is a highly qualified financial professional who takes ownership of reporting costs, productivity, margins, and expenditures for a company. The Senior Accountant should be able to complete the following:
Coordinate all company accounting activities.
Prepare and record asset, liability revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Coordinate all company accounting activities.
Prepare and record asset, liability revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintain general ledger and balance/transfer subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions.
Develop accounting standards and procedures to assure uniform accounting practices, internal controls, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain financial security by following internal controls, verifying documentation, requesting disbursements, and upholding confidentiality.
Report on the organizations finances to management, and offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Collect information to summarize the companys financial status.
Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
