Required Skills/Training:    
-Ability to work both independently and co-operatively with other caretaking staff to clean and maintain the school buildings and grounds in accordance with the Division policies and procedures.
-Previous caretaking experience in a school or other business environment would be an asset.
-Valid Firemans Certificate or willingness to obtain one in the first year of employment.
-Physically fit and able to handle various tasks involving lifting, bending, twisting, turning, and climbing and have the ability to do periodic heavy lifting.
-Possess a Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
-Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) would be considered an asset.
-CPR/First Aid would be considered an asset.
  
Requirements:    
-Familiarity and understanding of the practices of the Roman Catholic Faith
-Recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check upon employment
