We are seeking an experienced professional to augment our Commercial team in Moose Jaw, SK. In this position, you will be responsible to negotiate, manage and administer a diverse variety of subcontracts providing services within a Canadian federal defence program. This individual will be a key member of the Canadian Commercial Management team and be part of a team of similar subcontract professionals in multiple locations, ensuring alignment with global policy and legal compliance. We need a meticulous and confident professional with the skills and experience necessary to ensure contractual obligations are met and files are managed effectively. You must have solid communication, analytical and people skills.
Our ideal candidate has:
-5-7 years of applicable experience in contract administration and negotiation in a highly technical environment;
-A Bachelor's degree in Administration/Commerce/Business or a related field;
-Demonstrated ability to use sound judgement and autonomy to manage multiple tasks in an environment with rapidly changing priorities;
-A results-driven and customer-focussed mind-set with strengths in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders;
-Capablility of obtaining and maintaining a Canadian security clearance & Controlled Goods clearance (mandatory);
-Permission to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit (mandatory);
