Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Oakdale Coordinator is responsible to oversee day to day programming. They support staff with implementation of client caseloads and implementation of programming, procedures and staff roles and responsibilities.

Provide leadership and direction to staff members, in all areas, including confidentiality, positive work environment, conflict resolution.
Maintain written and computerized records, compile reports and complete other program documents (including case notes, statistics, letters, etc.).
Monitor spending to ensure accountability and appropriateness. Ensure spending policies are being followed and documented.
Represent Homeward Bound in meetings as requested.
Be available for an on call schedule;
Uphold and maintain policies and procedures for Homeward Bound, Kindred Spirit and CLSD.
Provide culturally sensitive outreach, case management, counselling and other needed services to clients.
Provide individually tailored services to each client, e.g., housing placement, independent living skills, appointment escorts, home visits, family counselling.
Ensure critical incidents are properly documented and reported to manager.
Provide transportation to client appointments as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in human services, supported housing, or with persons with disabilities/addictions
Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture
Drivers license
Vehicle
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Computer skills
Must pass Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Ability to work independently
Good time management skills
