The Sr. Gas Bar Clerk participates as a member of the Hometown Co-op organization to provide a variety of duties including: customer service, process customer transactions, assist in receiving of freight, dispense gasolines, diesel fuel, oil, propane, food service preparation, sanitation, maintain food service and refrigeration logs. Demonstrate leadership in the operation and responsible for Jr. Gas Bar Clerks in the absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager.

Excellent customer service skills
Ability to solve problems
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong positive attitude and an outgoing and energetic personality
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills
Physically able to lift 35+ lbs
Must be bondable

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide exceptional customer service
To perform exterior and interior housekeeping and maintenance duties
To operate the Point of Sale terminal (POS)
To assist in ordering, receiving and displaying merchandise as directed by the Supervisor
To perform opening and closing procedures as directed by the Supervisor
To be responsible for providing a neat, clean and well merchandised front-end at all times
To clean, fill and maintain all machines, example: slush, hot dog, coffee, etc.
To be responsible in the area of loss prevention
To be familiar with and adhere to Hometown Co-op policies and procedures
To maintain propane certificate
Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:
Scheduled shifts may vary from weekdays, evenings, and weekends
Position will require standing for long periods of time
Lifting of items required that may be 35 pounds or heavier
Required to wear a designated Co-op uniform and name tag
