Position Overview:
The company is seeking a dynamic President/Director to lead its transition from a period of limited growth to a vibrant, expanding enterprise. This role will focus on establishing a robust business structure, implementing effective management practices, and preparing the organization for future expansion. The President/Director will work closely with the owner to continue the legacy while ensuring peace of mind for the family, associates, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies that enhance organizational efficiency and performance, aligning teams with the company's goals.
Organizational Development: Foster a cohesive organization by synchronizing leadership, enhancing clarity, creating meaning, and building strategic agility and capability.
Growth Initiatives: Drive organizational growth through innovative approaches and proven quality management methods.
Team Empowerment: Build confidence within teams to address critical issues and develop actionable plans.
Operational Excellence: Guide the organization using frameworks such as policy deployment, PDSA, and project management
Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts in Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality management theories to achieve operational success.
Primary Duties:
-Ensure alignment with the organization's vision and mission.
-Oversee and coordinate business operations.
-Transition decision-making authority to appropriate management levels
-Analyze trends and variances to drive performance improvements.
-Review and analyze key reports, including budgets and operational metrics, to optimize productivity.
-Report to the family board, providing regular updates during key meetings
-Maintain a straightforward and focused approach.
