Employment Length: April 15 to Oct 15th dependent on weather
Job Description
To the best of your ability, perform, manage, schedule and supervise all necessary maintenance duties on the golf course.
Maintain the golf course, including fairways, roughs, greens and ground in a manner consistent with the budget.
Be accountable for the maintenance of the golf course and equipment.
Order and maintain all inventories and supplies for the golf course
Apply, inventory, and maintain all pesticides

Be accountable for the maintenance of the golf course and equipment.
Order and maintain all inventories and supplies for the golf course
Apply, inventory, and maintain all pesticides and fertilizers.
Be responsible for the operation and the maintenance of the entire irrigation system within the golf course, including completing all proper reporting necessary in accordance with regulations.
Be responsible for keeping service, maintenance and repair record on the irrigation system and provide and document all winterization procedures for all water handling and irrigations systems.
Be responsible for the training and supervision of all golf course maintenance staff in the operation of equipment and on course maintenance.
Provide written and verbal direction and discipline as needed.
Ensure that all golf course staff are informed and trained on safety procedures.
Ensure all golf course staff are equipped with and wear all necessary safety gear.
In your absence, make sure someone is on standby to handle unforeseen and necessary decisions and repairs.
The Golf Course Superintendent works unsupervised but must be willing and able to take direction and advice from the board.
Attend the Park Board Meetings and provide a written and verbal report.
