TCOC has an exciting a full time and part-time opportunity for someone that is experienced and passionate to join our team in providing childcare support to our children.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures all programming, appointments, medications, visits, etc. are recorded and signed.
Provide children with age-appropriate activities and programs.
Assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the children while ensuring that food handling and storage follow appropriate safety guidelines.
Monitor behavioral issues and respond. appropriately, ensuring that children are safe.
Attend staff meetings and participate in safety related initiatives.
Adhere to all internal policies and procedures
Ensure the House Leader is kept apprised with all issues relating to the children's well-being and safety.
Complete ad hoc or regular reports (e.g. incident reports, daily log books).
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of child/family information.
Perform related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal Education Post-secondary education in a related field
Working Conditions Driving, sitting and standing for extended periods of time, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling and actively engaging
Certifications/Training/Associations
First Aid & CPR (level C) with A.E.D is required.
A valid class 5 drivers license is mandatory
Additional Notes:
Employment is conditional upon a positive outcome from a vulnerable sector criminal record check.
