The Beaver River Regional Housing Authority is recruitment a Manager. In this term position, you will learn housing operations, build connections with employees, the housing network and the community - all before moving into a permanent agreement. Over the term, you can determine your fit with the organization and regional culture, all while doing purposeful work that betters the community!
The position can be based in Beauval or Pinehouse.
The Manager will lead a portfolio spanning six communities. With a dedicated team and contracted services, the Manager oversees the operation while ensuring efficient and respectful delivery of housing that benefits tenants most in need.
Key accountabilities for the position are:
-Property and Capital Asset Management
-Financial Management
-Tenant and Community Relations
-Human Resource Manager
-Board Relations
The ideal candidate will bring a background in social work, psychology, human services, and related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered and operational and human resource management support is just a call away to help you learn the ropes!
Familiarity with JD Edwards (or similar) and MS Office is required. Most importantly, you embrace learning, enjoy people, respect diversity, have superb communication and a passion for community. A valid SK Drivers license, reliable vehicle and satisfactory enhanced police information check is required, upon hire.
