The successful candidate will:
-Support school and community by sharing, supporting, and promoting land-based knowledge.
-Work with the principal, teachers, parents, Elders, and community members as a team in implementing and coordinating all aspects of language and land-based education.
-Assist in developing a positive, caring, and supportive culture and climate which closely aligns to the teachings of our Elders and implement the TRCs Calls to Action by prioritizing and revitalizing --Indigenous languages and culture.
-Identify and establish partnerships with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community agencies to develop and coordinate opportunities for staff and students to partake in Land Language and Cultural activities.
