A large and complex organization, eHealth is comprised of 30+ clinical and non-clinical program (service) areas that all work together to support health care providers and teams across the province in delivering the best possible care to patients, providers, citizens, and health system users. Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Partnership Services, the Business Planner oversees the strategic planning process for all things data related. This position works with internal and external teams across eHS Technology and Athabasca Health Authority (AHA) to ensure the services we provide fit with the overall strategic direction of eHealth and AHA, and meet or exceed business requirements. This position facilitates the development of strategies, plans, roadmaps and business cases in collaboration with eHealth and AHA.
Experience & Qualifications:
Degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related equivalent
5 + years of IT operational experience.
A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
A PROCSI or Change Management Professional (CMP) certification from an accredited institution.
A Project Management certification from an accredited institution would be an asset.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
