Job Description
To support youth by collaborating with Integrated Family Service Worker to ensure all eligible youth are successful in their independence. The Post Majority Care Program Coordinator reports to the Family Support Manager and collaborates with the On-Going Protection Managers of Protection Services. The Post Majority Care Program Coordinator will oversee the Post Majority Care Program services offered to youth. Knowledge

The Post Majority Care Program Coordinator reports to the Family Support Manager and collaborates with the On-Going Protection Managers of Protection Services. The Post Majority Care Program Coordinator will oversee the Post Majority Care Program services offered to youth. Knowledge of the FSIN Child Welfare and Family Support Act and the Saskatchewan Child and Family Services Act. .Possess experience with engaging youth and facilitating groups/workshops.
Should have an understanding of the developmental stages for this demographic and learning styles of youth. Must have knowledge of the available assessment tools, as well as the ability to give a written assessment based on the results of one or more of the tools used. Exceptional negotiating, advocating, problem solving and mediation and conflict resolution skills in resolving issues at many different levels (interpersonal and systemic through gaining the co-operation and commitment of others).Knowledge of community services and consultation processes, including an ability to interact positively, establish and maintain working relationships. Excellent public relation skills in communication, e.g., verbal, written, computer knowledge. Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Ability to provide leadership through encouragement, collaborations and the promotion of healthy, positive working relationships with the objective of achieving youth, team and organization goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Social Work (BSW or BISW) Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License, Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
