Youll be involved with strategic planning and hands-on execution, as you assess and develop new ore zones to bring into production while embracing the safe and effective implementation of the SABRE mining technique. Youll navigate immediate and long-term challenges to achieve production targets, while collaborating with consulting engineers to deliver innovative designs. Responsibilities:
Mining:
-Assist with operating and capital budgets, forecasting, execution, and reporting
-Recommend and implement engineering processes and procedures
Project Management:
-Support McClean Lake Mining (MLM) in safely achieving production targets, while addressing short and long-term challenges
-Guide consulting engineering and project delivery services in the development and execution of engineered designs and projects
-Assist in managing project delivery, including costs, schedules ,quality, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs)
-Administer management of change (MOC) to facility changes
Plan and Integrate:
-Help to develop the annual budget for sustaining and project capital
Skills and Qualifications:
-A university degree in Engineering; specializing in mining. Eligible to registered as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan with APEGS
-3-5+ years of progressive mine engineering and project delivery experience
-Microsoft Project experience
Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake
-Fly-in/Fly-out operation with on-premise camp facilities
-14 day in/ 14 day out schedule
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
-Able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions
