The North East School Division is looking for friendly, responsible, and energetic individuals to add to our transportation team. School bus drivers are an important part of a student's day. They are there to greet, guide, and ensure your community's children stay safe as they travel to and from school.

Estimated daily km: 230/day (subject to change)

Application deadline: Until a suitable candidate pool can be established.
As a Route school bus driver, you:
Provide transportation for students to and from school
Are eligible for medical and pension benefits
Earn income and have weekends, evenings and holidays free to pursue other interests
Are a positive role model to local children
Support your local community by providing a service for children and parents
Requirements:
Minimum grade 10 education
Be medically and physically able to perform the duties of a bus driver
Minimum valid class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers license (not learners or graduated license)
Currently possess or able to obtain a drivers license S Endorsement for school bus
Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
Acceptable drivers abstract
Capable of using technology for e-mail, internet access, typical office software, and GPS
Must have reliable transportation
Training:
Paid training, including mileage, is provided for successful candidates.
Successful candidates will be reimbursed for the costs of; Commercial Medical, SGI Drivers Abstract, CRC and Vulnerable Sector Check, and S-endorsement testing.
