As our business continues to grow and expand, so is our team to keep up with our current and future customer demands. Are you looking for a new opportunity to join the largest privately-owned Canadian Manufacturer of transformers and one of Canadas Best Managed Companies? Then this is the role for you!
As part of the Winding and Coring team, you will be responsible to build high and/or low voltage coils.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Gather, inspect and prepare materials and prepare insulation packages.
2. Build mandrels, load materials and program/monitor winding machine.
3. Buff, braze or weld leads as required.
4. Remove completed coils and transfer to next stage of production.
5. Monitor condition of equipment and maintain machinery logbooks.
6. Performing other duties as allocated.
WHAT IT TAKES
Apply today if you meet the following requirements:
1. Grade 12 or equivalent.
2. 6+ months experience in manufacturing and/or related experience.
3. Demonstrated experience working with a variety of hand tools.
4. Ability work at sustained pace and produce quality work.
5. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
6. Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
