Job Description
The Medical Clinic in La Ronge, SK, requires the services of a full-time Receptionist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for checking in booked appointments, registering new patients and following up on patient and provider requests. They will also field incoming calls and direct them to appropriate staff whilst also booking new appointments. Maintaining, updating and creating patient demographics and existing EMR
The Medical Clinic in La Ronge, SK, requires the services of a full-time Receptionist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for checking in booked appointments, registering new patients and following up on patient and provider requests. They will also field incoming calls and direct them to appropriate staff whilst also booking new appointments. Maintaining, updating and creating patient demographics and existing EMR profiles is also necessary. Other office and administrative duties may also be required.
The ideal candidate will require a Grade 12 education and previous experience in a reception or administrative position is preferred. Keen attention to accuracy, understanding the importance of confidentiality and professionalism, computer skills and the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently is required. Excellent communication and organization skills are also essential. Emphasis on safe and quality patient care is crucial to the position, including the ability to adapt to new technology as to enhance the existing administrative team.
There is a requirement for a background check such as the provision of a satisfactory criminal record check.
Salary is to commensurate with qualifications and experience
