Job Description
Camponi Housing Corporation is looking for a Project Lead to oversee the implementation of Camponis Eviction Prevention and Shelter Diversion Project, ensuring its alignment with the objectives of Reaching Homes homelessness prevention initiative. The lead will coordinate all project activities, engage with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.

The lead will coordinate all project activities, engage with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the project, including the distribution of financial assistance to prevent evictions.
Conduct tenant outreach to identify individuals at risk of eviction, particularly within Indigenous communities.
Review applications and determine eligibility for financial assistance based on established criteria.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Prepare progress reports and contribute to the final project evaluation.
Facilitate tenant education workshops, including the Rent Ed program, which focuses on rent, budgeting, and financial literacy.
Confidently speak to and engage large groups during workshops and outreach events.
Maintain professionalism in all interactions with tenants, landlords, community partners, and team members, ensuring respect and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
Post secondary degree or some Post secondary combined with minimum of 2 years related experience
Experience managing community-based programs, particularly those addressing housing or homelessness.
Strong understanding of Indigenous communities' housing needs and systemic barriers.
High level of computer literacy is required
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
