In this role the successful candidate will design strategies to enhance EVRAZs overall financial health. This will be done by formulating a finance strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business through the maximization of returns on financial assets and seeking opportunities to reduce costs and increase capital. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

In this role the successful candidate will design strategies to enhance EVRAZs overall financial health. This will be done by formulating a finance strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business through the maximization of returns on financial assets and seeking opportunities to reduce costs and increase capital. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

* Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure for the Canadian Operations
* Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required)
* Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties
* Collaborate with audit and tax functions on activities to review overall financial performance of the Company
* Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting
* Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent IFRS, GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
* Selects, coaches and develops high performing teams in all areas of customer billing, cash applications and collections. Establishes measurable goals and performs continual measurement, coaching and counseling to team members
* Remain current on operational trends, technological developments and regulatory changes
* Hires, trains, develops, monitors, and evaluates performance of staff.
