Job Description
The La Loche Housing Authority is currently recruiting a Maintenance Worker to join their team immediately!
The Position:
-Ensure housing units are rent ready by undertaking minor repairs, prep work, painting, etc.
-Garbage removal and janitorial duties
-Groundskeeping, including grass cutting and snow removal
-Assist with routine and preventative maintenance tasks

Responsibilities and Requirements:
-Basic knowledge in a variety of trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, and electrical
-Ensure day to day operations are handling promptly and effectively
Qualifications:
-Grade 12 education or equivalent, basic computer skills, and some experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
-Ability to organize and participate in an on call program for emergencies for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
-A valid drivers license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
